Benza Bullion respects your privacy. This policy explains the information Benza Bullion collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you when you use the Benza Bullion app or website.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you create and use an account, including your email address, optional display name, bullion holdings, transaction or activity information, watchlist price targets, notification preferences, and other portfolio information you choose to enter.
We may also process technical information needed to operate the service, such as authentication session information, push-notification subscription information, basic device/browser information supplied in normal web requests, and service logs used for security and reliability.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate your account, save and display your portfolio, calculate portfolio values and history, provide requested price alerts and other notifications, maintain service reliability, prevent abuse, and provide customer support.
Market data and third-party services
Benza Bullion uses service providers to operate the app, including Supabase for authentication, database, and backend infrastructure. The app also retrieves market pricing from third-party market-data services. Those providers may process information according to their own privacy practices. Benza Bullion does not sell your personal information.
Push notifications
If you enable notifications, Benza Bullion stores the technical subscription information needed to deliver alerts. You can disable notification categories in Settings and can also disable notifications through your device or browser settings.
Data retention
We retain account and portfolio information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet security obligations, resolve disputes, or comply with applicable law. Portfolio history may be retained to provide long-term account charts and analytics.
Account deletion
You can initiate permanent account deletion from within Benza Bullion under Settings. Deleting your account removes your Benza Bullion authentication account and associated portfolio data that is not required to be retained by law. Account deletion cannot be undone.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Benza Bullion is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your choices
You may update your display name and email, change your password, manage notification preferences, sign out, or delete your account from Settings. For other privacy questions or requests, contact us at benzabullion@gmail.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
